Fenestralia : manuscript, [194-?].

Autograph manuscript of Beerbohm's essay first published in "Mainly on the Air," Heinemann, London, 1946. Together with five pages of manuscript notes for an essay on watching the Parisian street scene at the Gare du Nord from a window in the hotel above the station (1928). These notes, much condensed, were used for a passage in the essay "Fenestralia."
